Clever shoppers are making the most of a whole host of ebay coupons to drive down the purchase of their new HDTV or LCD TV.
Ebay, long known for its bargain basement products now offers a whole host of brand new, fully guaranteed manufacturer warrantied televisions – with exactly the same backup as you would get with a store bought purchase.
A lot of people fail to realise that purchasing a major household appliance online can lead to major savings. And if you combine this with one of ebay coupons, then this can lead to saving even more money.
Searching for a deal on ebay is easy. Firstly, take a look at the ebay coupon code page to see if there is anything specific to TV’s. These change regularly so keep going back to check if anything new is there.
Then, type what you are looking for into the ebay search bar – for instance, Toshiba LCD TV. You’ll then be returned a list of 1000+ items. Refine your search by checking boxes in the tool bar which runs down the left side of the screen. Click on ‘televisions’ to show just the TV’s and not the accessories. You can also specify a price range and whether you want a new or used TV. Select either auction format – where you have to bid and the highest one wins the item, or buy it now. Which is exactly as it sounds.
If you’ve not shopped on ebay for a while then be aware that all searches are now shown as ‘best match’. This means the ebay system reads your search and returns what it thinks is the correct items. However, if you are looking for auction items you may wish to change this to ‘time ending soonest’, to you don’t miss out on something which is about to end in the next few minutes.
When purchasing a large electronic item such as a TV, you are safer to purchase it as a ‘buy it now’ rather than an auction. Buy it now purchases are covered by consumer regulations in exactly the same way as if you purchase from a store.
